Reading: went over equestrian vocabulary words

Language: reviewed singular & plural possessive nouns; discussed business & personal/friendly letters; wrote out a business letter

Language: reviewed singular possessive nouns; introduced plural possessive nouns

Math: reviewed whole -number & decimal place value & the words; worked on addition & subtraction w/ decimals

Language: continued work on combining sentences by adding adjectives & adverbs

Reading: continued TABE reading assessments

Math: reviewed 1st decimal division

Language: reviewed singular possessive nouns; worked on plural possessive nouns

Math: reviewed decimal place valule and number words; division with decimals (2 types)

Math: division with decimials: decimal point in the dividend & decimal point in the dividend & the divisor

Reading: "Horsing Around" vocabulary sheet -- using the dictionary

Language: reviewed the 3 types of quotations;
introduced singular possessive nouns

Math: reviewed division steps with single- & double-digit divisor;
discussed whole number & decimal places and worked on numbers & the number words for both

A small number of students did some intensive work with Ms. Arakaki.

worked on compound subjects, verbs, & objects;
